Is air travel getting too complex?
"With the increase in security measures at airport - overseas travel has become too complex."
Most business travellers agree that it is security measures are absolutely necessary in airports and are willing to sacrifice time in the name of safety. As airports adapt to new regulation the flying experience should become less complex over time. Although video conferencing can be a valuable tool that is often underused, many agree that face to face contact and discussion is essential to establishing meaningful business relationship.

digiammarco thinks: Yes, B-travel will continue to be necessary. Video/tele conferences will never replace the effectiveness of a handshake. HOWEVER, the travel industry has been uncapable of evolving into service-orientation. Airtravel has never moved into Simplicity (even before terrorism came into the map). It just gets more complex everytime...
FrankNfurter thinks: Airports are just too large and overwhelming and more importantly, not comfortable at all. A few mediocre shops and restaraunts does not cover the fact that airports are no more comfortable than a shopping centre.
