Has the combination of cameras, phones and organisers worked?
"Now that you can get a mobile phone with a camera that is just as good as a standalone digital camera is it easier or harder?"
As technology has improved in mobile devices, consumers are more and more accepting of all-in-one products. Most agree that one product with many features (including organizer, internet access, email, phone, digital camera, and mp3 player) is the solution. Still others would prefer separate products, believing that a combination product cannot compare to the quality of a product designed specifically for that task. Despite their current views, most traditionalist believe that it is only a matter of time before technology catches up and a all-in-one product is truly the superior solution.

roxinante thinks: I have found that having a camera in my phone creates additional opportunities to take pictures. I have never before had a camera available so readily. This means that I don't have to decide in advance that a situation merits taking a camera with me, it is just there ready and waiting.
vankuyckg thinks: While I'd push for integrated solutions (I simply do not want to carry around "luggage" where-ever I go), I still find separate gadgets much more friendly... they do what they're supposed to do, easily, without effort/hassle, without breaking down too much.

Integrated things get "clunky" very quickly... and I find they never really replace the "real thing" anyway. Still would love to get great integrated ones though.
