Too much to read
"Every day I come home, there is so much postal mail to check and to read. I do not always have the time to open everything and end up with lots of unread postal mail. "
As a result of the internet, it seems that we are slowly moving to a paperless society. Many of us are faced with too much junk mail, whether through our postal mail or via email. Although most people prefer to receive monthly statements and bills through email, it is also necessary to have hard copies available in instances where they are needed for documentation, for example when purchasing a home. With the advent of email statements and billing, at least we can minimize the amount of paper used and the amount of junk postal mail recieved.

dreve thinks: I now read emails more than postal mail because of the junk mail I received, as least email can have a function in filtering 'junk' rather than receiving. Besides, what is different between a paper copy or electronic copy?
SimplyOverwhelmed thinks: I'm torn on this issue. 'Paperless' billing works out realy well until we actually *need* a copy of a bill and then you find out pretty quickly that this version is not considered legal or acceptable. So basically until everyone catches up I think we still need the choice.
