Alarm clock hell
"Why is it that alarm clocks, essentailly what gets me out of bed every day, is one of the the most complex and aggrevating devices I use? When the power goes out, I have to reset the time/date/alarm. When time changes for daylight saving, why can't it do it on it's own?"

For those who need to get up every morning, an alarm clock becomes an essential signal that tells us to get out of bed. Although alarm clocks with many available functions, whether these functions are necessary or not is debatable. Personal preference plays quite a large part in the alarm clock buying decision. Some people prefer to pay less and are quite happy with a simple alarm clock with basic functions, while other customers seem to prefer more advanced alarm clocks with a certain level of 'intelligence'. In all cases, the basic purpose of the clock is to wake the user up. Any other features would merely be a luxury for those who find it makes their lives easier.

itssimple thinks: Oh how nice it would be to have a WiFi based clock. No more worries about changing time or having the correct time. It would know when the weekends were so as not to set off the alarm. Maybe even give you the local weather and traffic updates while you're getting ready for work in the morning.
Dream thinks: I have two cheap plastic Alarm Clocks that I bought from a Charity Shop for £1.49 each. If I have a Job, or have to get up early for any other reason, I set both Clocks. If the Battery fails in one the other one still works :P
