Why do I have so many remote controls?
"I love my TV, my DVD player and my Hi-Fi however I can lose track of the remote controls for each piece of equipment, especially as my stereo is a separates system with each piece having it’s own remote."
The ultimate electronics dilemma has to be whether to trade in all the custom remotes for each electronics product you own or use an all-in-one, universal remote. The problem becomes, how easy is it to customize this remote to your components and will it have all the same controls as the original manufacturers remote. Many times it's a personal preference although more often than not, electronics users prefer to simplifiy their lives by using just one remote. One remote may be preferred over many, but it should be easy to set up and even easier to use.

Simpely1 thinks: Although its never A or B, I want to have the best of both worlds, dont bother me with complexity, just give me simplicity!
2brick thinks: Rather than controlling all devices by remote, the majority of devices should be able to independently understand your needs, so you do not have to control them.

Therefore, the amount of devices that you would need to operate by remote control would be massively decreased and a 1-size-fits all remote control would be easier to operate.
