Sizes for clothes
"I always get confused by sizes of clothes and shoes. Why are there different units in America, Mexico and Europe?"
Sizes of clothes can be very confusing. Unit sizes can be different depending on where you live. Of course, people of different parts o fthe world come in all shapes and sizes, from the larger Americans to the smaller sizes Asian population. Even different brands of clothing can come in different sizes. How do we make this idea of sizing easier? It's simple, create a universal sizing chart to be used throughout the world. Not only will it standardise clothes sizes so anyone in Japan can visit Europe and buy the same size shirt, but it simplifies internet shopping a great deal. One of the main concerns with internet shopping is 'Will it fit when I get it?'. That issue is eliminated with universal sizes as shopping for clothes becomes less of a hassle.

Roadmeister thinks: Agree, this is just stupidity, especially when you now can shop across the globe over the Internet.

It does allow women to really feel good about them self though if they shop in a country where suddenly they are a 38 having been a 42 for their whole life.

SimplyOverwhelmed thinks: While I would like to see a standard sizing adopted, this seems unlikely in a world where even within one size there is such wide variations of measurement.
