i prefer online shopping but sometimes it's not practical. example...finding earphones for your portable music player that a) fit b) comfortable c) give good sound...better to try them on in a shop and i want an earpiece that fits my ear perfectly so someone make an earpiece that is flexible and moulds to fit my ear not a half-baked off the shelf solution one size fits all cos they don't

i agree on-line shopping makes life comfortable; however it is an addition to the usual shopping, so presenting just two view is misleading. You will always need both, depending on the mood and time available you choose the appropriate channel

When shopping, the internet can prove to be a valuable tool. The internet provides a fantasticaly simple way of allowing a shopper to browse a variety of stores without leaving the comfort of their own home. Not only are there countless sites to compare prices and products, during the holidays there are just as many tools available to help one find the perfect gift for that special someone.

Although the internet provides amazing ease when comparison shopping, at times, a visit to the store is required to fully validate a purchase decision. After all, the internet still can't capture smell or texture. It will not allow you to virtually try on clothing, but it can provide a valuable starting point to your shopping experience, minimizing the amount of time needed to find the perfect gift.
