johndi questions:
Universal Healthcare
In several states in the US, the enormous costs of healthcare has lead to legislation towards universal healthcare. Does this make things easier and cheaper for us all, knowing that we can have adequate healthcare regardless of our economic status?

Universal healthcare is the only way to deal with increasing healthcare costs. It would be a good idea for more governments to introduce legislation moving in this direction.
View B
Universal healthcare is a burden on the taxpayer. Why should people who can afford coverage pay for those who cannot, and at times, will not pay for their own healthcare.

pantv thinks: Every human being should have the right to proper healthcare, regardless of how much money they have, what color their skin is or in which god they believe. Somebody stating the opposite would probably be suffering from some antisocial psychological problem.....and is in desperate need of mental healthcare him- or herself.
afzilla thinks: The idea that those who are poor shouldn't be entitled to healthcare is simply insane. It just leads to a cycle of deprivation. You are ill ergo you cant work ergo you cant get treatment ergo you cant work etc
