afzillathinks: The idea that those who are poor shouldn't be entitled to healthcare is simply insane. It just leads to a cycle of deprivation. You are ill ergo you cant work ergo you cant get treatment ergo you cant work etc

Big brother is watching
afzillathinks: Leave me alone. Just let me do whatever I want. I am big enough and ugly enough to make my own decisions and, believe it or not, they wont be to kill, rape and pillage. If I was in the situation where i had to, then that should be addressed at its root, not the consequences of it. ie crime. I do not feel more safe when all my information and movements are on a database which so many people can access. I feel violated.

Are newspapers and magazines a dying medium?
newman42thinks: I've seen that the internet version of a newspaper or magazine has beome more of a supplement and not a replacement for the medium. I don't think the need to have a form of portable reading material will go away any time soon especially considering the resources needed for electronics versions and the difficulty of reading on a computer or other type of screen.

Annetthinks: A agree to view B, as I find it more agreable to see the print on paper than looking at a screen. But I am willing to sacrifice this pleasure for the sake of the environment.

Public transportation vs. driving
abum96thinks: Public transortation should be encouraged by goverments. If there is a strong public tranport systme running through a city, there is no reason to have an automobile and both the financial and environmental cost associated with it. Imagine a city strictly comprised of walking streets. Traffic could become a thing of the past.
