Over-reliance on technology
clo thinks: I think we are in the infant stages of where technology can take us. We have only just started using technology in a widespread way over the last two decades. I'd consider these the early stages where growing pains are inevitable. As technology progresses, we can be sure that it will be easier to use and will greatly improve our lives.

Public transportation vs. driving
clo thinks: Public transportation needs to be widely established. It makes no sense for every person on earth to own an automobile. Besides environmental concerns, dwindling space will soon become an issue. Would you rather have a nice sized comfortable home or allocate that space for storage of your automobile.

Are newspapers and magazines a dying medium?
clo thinks: Although I'd prefer a physical newspaper, often when I don't have the time, I get my news from the internet. There's also a certain level of immediate information on the internet that you cannot get from a physical paper.

What's the biggest issue with tech today?
clo thinks: I enjoy innovation, but having said that, I know the issues that come with being an early adopter. I've had my share of buggy products. I find it interesting to see how products have evolved over the years to overcome this initial obstacle. More and more products are software-based and can have easy, automatic updates. Some day everything will have an internet connection, providing easy access to tools to solve any issues.

Why do we carry so many keys?
clo thinks: Key's provide a certain level of security in knowing that they can not be "hacked". Although it would be great to not carry around numerous odd shaped keys, a truly secure method of locking mechanism such as biometric access would probably be to expensive to implement. I believe the lack of enthusiasm toward new technology in this area is more psychological. It's would be difficult knowing that you're secure with any other form of electronic lock.

Do social networking websites make us more social?
charlie thinks: Strangely enough, most people feel that their online friendshis are just as fulfilling as real world relationships. Social interaction on the web has grown exponentially over the last few years, but I still ave a hard time believing these online relationships have the depth of a true friendship although I can see the value of being involved in a community of people who have the same interests as yourself.

Do social networking websites make us more social?
ca thinks: There can be great value in social networks if used properly. The participants must have something in common and be willing to contribute to the community in order to make it truly successful.

Do social networking websites make us more social?
ztyler thinks: I think to a certain extent, it works, but it provides no long lasting connection. Most of these sites help connecting people a bit in the short term maybe for the purposes of finding a job or to gain clients, but these sites have shown to not last over time. They become popular for a short while until something better comes along, just look at Friendster and how it was surpasses by MySpace. In the next year, my bet is that yet another site will come along to replace MySpace.

Do social networking websites make us more social?
BigCheez thinks: Social networking sites are based purley on buzz and popularity. Many come and go depending on what new features they might add to their sites or what groups they target. As a way to find friends or work, I think it is lacking although it is a great way to find people with your same interests if the site is focused on such.

Out of control email inbox
zilliyao thinks: It is high time that Email organization redefined or changed in some way to minimize the clutter of our inbox and simplify the process of sorting emails;

Everday, I receive lots of waste mails in my email inbox.

Out of control email inbox
ztyler thinks: jk, what do you mean by 'routing information'? You don't want someone to know your email address?

Are people becoming less intelligent because of technology?
ca thinks: It's not so much not being able to process or remember information, it's more about using that brain ower towards other means. Focusing the capacities of the brain to perform larger, more complex tasks without having to spend valuable resources on the small things.
