hilarious thinks: Pop up advertising must be the most annoying thing known to man! They are a positive disincentive to buying anything at all from companies that advertise in that way. The pop up robot advertising Philips goods is clever but ultimately so aggro-inducing that I would like to take up a spanner and disintegrate it permanently!!

Edward thinks: The "roll me over" intrusive robot by philips prompted me to write this. It is TOO much when trying to read some news. I hope it the start of a campaign to stop this nonsense and if so I hope it is successful but very much doubt it. Meantime will find a more peaceful site to read the news

aloysiusbear thinks: I think it a real pity that everything these days is so commercialised that we have to have rotten bloody advertising at all. The world seen through the eyes of the corporations is a kind of Disneyworld where nothing bad ever happens - except of course if they have a way of making money out of the remedy - if all the money spent on advertising were put into making better products and making them cheaper, we would all be better off. My message to you, Phillips, get out of my life.
